Robinson Talks Active Lifestyle, Skincare Line

Smokey: “Well, first of all, I believe in taking care of myself, and I always have. I’ve been very active in that area for my whole life. Since I was a little boy, a teenager and all that, I actually am a huge sports fan. I’ve been playing sports all my life. I played basketball and football for my high school and summer-league baseball. I work out, I used to run marathons and do those things that I thought were going to be beneficial for me at this time in my life.

Frances: “I come from a family of five girls, and my mother used to tell us, ‘Make sure you wash your face every evening before you go to bed, especially if you’ve put make-up on so it doesn’t get into your pores’, but she used to hand us a bar of laundry soap! We used laundry soap at one time, and I think in my late 20’s I started paying more attention to my skin, my late 20’s, early 30’s I started paying far more attention to my skin. That’s why I say, ‘you can’t be too young to start’!

Smokey: “In skin care we are doing products for people of color, for people with that type of melanin in their skin. We’ve been working on this now for a couple years or so, and we’re finally ready to launch!

The men’s product is called Get Ready, the women’s product is called My Girl, because this is my girl, right here, and look at her, I mean look at her, this is my girl… And I’m Ready!
